Concrete floors

The main product of the company is the fabrication of machine-glazed reinforced concrete floors, which create most of the company’s production. The durability of industrial floors is one of the decisive criterions of the quality; others are ductility and sturdiness of the floor finish, and its’ interconnection with the bearing concrete slab. The system of reinfroced concrete floors with special pour-in technology perfectly fills these requirements. This system is based on the monolithic interconnection of the concrete slab and extremely resistant floor finish of the size 3-5mm. The pour-in material is a factory premixed powder mixture of quality Portland concrete, indurate fillers on the base of clinker carbides, or non-oxidizing metals, pigments and other compatible additives and admixtures. Machine-poured into fresh concrete they create particularly resistant floor finish, which is after lapping treated with tightening and hardening acryl asphalt coating. Construction of bearing concrete slabs

Because of its’ specification, the bearing concrete slab must be determined by the designers’ layout, based on static analysis. The static layout must take several factors into consideration, such as the bearing capacity of the bolster layers, and anticipated load of the concrete floor, which are determined by:

  • Thickness of the concrete slab
  • Class of the concrete
  • Reinforcement of the concrete slab (sort, amount, placing of he reinforcement)

For economic, but also static reasons, the single-layer system of bearing concrete slab is much more preferable. In same cases of reconstruction it is necessary to accept the two-layer system. Bearing slabs of reinforced concrete floors are designed as reinforced with classic welded netting (KARI), or dispersed steel reinforcement.

The system of scattered reinforcement from steel fibers from drawn wire is preferable to classic reinforcement, because it increases the speed of fabrication of the concrete slab, its’ rigidity, ductility and firmness, and it also eliminates the creation of contraction breaches on the surface.

We cooperate with partnership company BEKAERT, which supplies us with steel reinforcement DRAMIX and provides full service with static layouts, meeting the demands of the customer.

The Subsoil

The subsoil has a strong influence on engineering characteristic and economic fabrication of the floor. The quality of the final floor panel is closely related to the quality of the subsoil. The subsoil should be homogenous, without the presence of stronger and weaker parts. The right design of the subsoil can lower the expenses for the floor panel.
